I had the privilege of attending a Junior High Football game last night. How refreshing it was to hear a prayer before the game. It’s been so long since I’ve experienced public Prayer (in God’s good name) and the Pledge of Allegiance. It has renewed my spirit…

While following the Spirit during lunch today, a pleasent reminder of the story of Jabez. Hope it touches you in the same way...
9 Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez,[c] saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” 10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! You may not think it takes much courage to face your temptations, but it does.
Accountability is a proactive step toward never underestimating the power of temptation. Manhood requires us to resolutely “flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart” (2 Timothy 2:22).
We have to put the lure of adolescent behavior behind us, face upward, and step up to our responsibilities as men.
