Management Profile

The Management Profile measures and develops a score for the individual’s understanding of the ten (10) best-practice management functions.

The profile indicates areas where more education or training would be helpful in improving individual effectiveness. It’s important to note that some good managers score poorly on the profile, while poor managers can score well.  There is a difference between knowing the correct action in a certain situation and actually performing that action.

In the case of good managers scoring poorly, the instructional strategy is to educate and bring awareness to strengths the manager is demonstrating.  The objective is for the manager to have a strong understanding and recognize the necessary skill sets in any given situation.

In the case of the poor manager scoring well, book knowledge is only as good as the classroom.  Self-esteem and confidence in applying the knowledge now becomes the focus of instruction and education.

Our goal in creating a custom training solution is to ensure each manager has a good understanding of effective management practices while utilizing the maturity metrics and other transitional tools in their day-to-day roles.
